Day 8: TSS Earnslaw Cruise & Walter Peak Farm

Here's Scott standing in front of the TSS Earnslaw before our cruise on Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm.

There are no native deciduous trees in NZ - only those that have been brought over. They were pretty easy to spot since it was the beginning of autumn here. Beautiful, especially against the blue skies and water!

We enjoyed the beautiful cruise over and back! On the way back, a pianist played songs and they handed out songbooks for passengers to sing along with - fun! Scott's favorite song: "The Happy Wanderer" (chorus: "Val-deri,Val-dera, Val-deri, Val-dera-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, Val-deri, Val-dera. My knapsack on my back.") :)
