Leaving in the morning, we drove from Queenstown to Te Anau, a quaint town about halfway between Queenstown and Milford Sound. We saw several parachuters, which was fun to watch, especially against such a beautiful backdrop! We didn't expect the drive to be so beautiful, but it really was, which was a special treat!
