This outing was a definite highlight to our trip! Being out on the water really gave us a deeper appreciation for the great size of these mountains - wow! The sheer rock faces rise 3900 feet or more on either side.
Milford Sound is a fjord within Fiordland National Park, judged as the world's top travel destination in an international survey and acclaimed as NZ's most famous tourist destination. Milford Sound is also one of the wettest places in the world; so, we were super thankful to not have rain while visiting this area!
