Recently we went to the botanical garden when they were restocking the butterfly house! We'd never seen butterflies brought in like this, but they were in semi-transparent small envelopes, 1-3 butterflies per envelope. Evidently, they are brought in from Limestone County, FL, and TN, placed in envelopes the day before, slightly chilled, and mailed in overnight mail. The "Butterfly Lady" let Tyler hold them as they came out of the envelopes. Most flew away immediately, but a few lingered, like the one in his hand here. Very neat!
